In most Prague rental transactions there are typically four parties involved:
1. Owner/Landlord
2. Listing Agency (hired by owner or landlord)

When you first contact the owner or landlord:
1. Make sure you've read the listing thoroughly
2. Don't ask questions that can be answered from their listing.
3. If interested ask to schedule a time to see their property.
4. Be flexible with your schedule. Try to be as accomodating as possible.
Having a contract between owner and tenant is important. It allows you to outline the terms of the tenancy in writing and can provide legal security in case something goes wrong, or the contract is not being upheld.
